Rare species - the Routemaster

Hardly ever see these nowadays - the Routemaster bus that Ken has done away with. A very sad day for London that this icon is no longer on the streets.

Also - I shouldn't really admit it but I was a frequent user of the jump-on jump-off from the back of the bus - I used to work just off Oxford Street, and crossing the road at Oxford Circus is a massive pain in the neck. I often used to jump on the bus and then jump off after it had crossed Oxford Circus just to avoid the pedestrian crossings. Not any more - nowadays (if I was lucky enough to live there) I would have to queue at the bus stop - how annoying!
