This bench is in Kenwood, on the path that runs next to the house on the way to the cafe.

It is dedicated to my great-grandma, Mrs Sara Pearlman, after whom I am named. It is also dedicated to her daughter, my aunt Anne, who died very young from cancer.

Taken a few weeks ago - at the ice rink at Parliament Hill. What a great place for it!

Had hoped to get up super-early for a great sunrise on the New Year.

Well, it was overcast. I headed out anyway, put off by a totally grey sky.

Instead of going in to town, I went to the Regent's Canal -by London Zoo.

I would have liked to spend longer and go all the way round to Camden, it was quite nice round the zoo and a bit smelly in parts.
